This season we have an uncommon offering to share. Brewmaster Larry has made a recipe that he has fantasized about throughout his long brewing career, after 45 years of beer experience, we are launching one of his last beers. To make the night that much more special, we are combining this launch with his 70th birthday!
The Village Enigma is an American styled Amber Ale. Rich with caramel sweetness, the Enigma hits your palate upfront. Though the sweetness is prevalent, we balance it nicely with a bitterness addition of Galena and a aromatic dry hopping bill complete with Centennial, Belma, Tahoma and Citra.
This Friday at National 17th we will be pouring the Village Enigma Uncommon Amber Ale along with a special Enigma cask that Larry will be tapping! Join us for the launch and to celebrate a final instalment in Larry’s beer arsenal. Oh and by the way this beer happens to be gluten-reduced. Also the birthday is a surprise Betty Kerwin don’t tell him!
