Village Brewery is currently seeking a full-time brewer. At Village, we have a small team of production staff. We emphasize team culture, career development and professional growth. Our brewers are responsible for operation of the brewhouse, centrifuge, kegging unit and all the various activities in the cellar.
Village Brewery is proud to be one of the oldest craft breweries in the province, having been established in 2011. Our beer has been awarded multiple times on a regional, provincial and country wide scale. Aside from the core brands being produced and perfected, our team is directly responsible for producing exciting and experimental brands on a smaller scale. Other exciting endeavors we are engaged in include the production of Cider and Non-Alcoholic Beers. We also are very proud to have an established QA program to assist in the production of the best possible products.
We offer a competitive salary, a benefits package and applicable educational rebates for all our full time workers. Professional training in WHMIS and Pro-serve is required and will be provided, but previous certifications are considered an asset. Additional training in first aid, forklift/power jack operation and confined spaces may be attained on the job. When applying, professional experience of more 2+ years is highly desired.
