Meet The Team

Meet The Team

Jay Wright

Meet Jay Wright. Jay is our convivial Northern Alberta Sales Rep, and one of the newer members of the Village family. He takes on Edmonton all by himself, and as a true local does it with ease. He is ever pleasant and definitely spreads cheer everywhere he goes (usually with non-stop shots all night long - thanks for the hangover Jay) and seems to know everyone no matter where he is. ⁣

Fun Fact: In junior high Jay was in a band called Free Beer. They thought when they got old enough to play clubs and their name was on the marquee more people would come see them. Needless to say, it didn’t work out.

We’re so happy to have Jay on the team as he assists us in building community in Northern Alberta. Learn a bit more about Jay and what makes a sales rep tick.

How did you get your start in the industry?⁣

Busing tables at Phil’s Pancake house led to bartending in college and a fruitful career in hospitality. Eventually, I wanted to experience something on the other side of the industry and so I began selling beer with Village.⁣

Coffee. Beer. Repeat⁣.

What is the best part of your job?

Every day is different. Whether it be checking in with accounts or coordinating events, it’s always a fun and exciting day in the beer world.
