In every Village, it is the artist that brings the colour, the vibrancy, and the joy.
It is the artist that asks the questions and pushes boundaries.
They are the courageous ones, the explorers, and the ones that inspire
us to transform the world into a better place.

 The Village Square

Twice a year we release a variety pack to celebrate the wonderful community of artists, merchants, musicians, and friends that gather in our village. We fill the pack with four different beers – this year it’s the Blonde, the Blacksmith, the Troubadour, and the Neighbour - and then proudly showcase a local artist on the outside of the box. We ask these artists to interpret their version of a village square and illustrate what it means to them.

Curtis Van Charles

This winter Curtis Van Charles is brightening up our village. Finding inspiration in the backcountry of the Rockies, his large-scale mixed media artwork exemplifies the beauty of the Canadian landscape. He focuses on nature and wildlife, advocating for the understanding of our natural environment while promoting conservation and preservation.

In his own words: “This Artwork pays tribute to the Village square and our favourite Canadian outdoor places. I envision a place we’ve all connected with on some level since we were kids and wanted to recreate this into artwork. I hope this inspires you to get outside for a little fresh air.”
